Preparing for the arrival of a new baby is exciting, but there can be a lot to learn before the big day. Knowing what to expect will ease your mind and ensure a positive experience for both you and your baby. All classes are $10 for you and $5 for a guest. Snacks will be provided.  The classes are highly recommended by the OB physicians for first-time parents. The best time to sign up for a class is around 20 weeks gestationAll classes will be offered monthly during the week and on Saturdays.

Childbirth Classes

This class has concentrated information but covers major topics of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. You may bring one guest with you. 

Breastfeeding Classes

Breastfeeding your infant can be wonderful and rewarding experience. We also understand it can be a little overwhelming.  We have a certified lactation consultant, Charli Hull, RN, IBCLC will help ease your concerns and answer any questions you may have. Our Obstetricians and Pediatricians encourage that you attend this class if you plan on breastfeeding after delivery. 

​Breastfeeding Support Group

The Breastfeeding Support Group meets from 5 to 6:30 pm in the Women's Center Conference ​Room in the West Tower.  The meeting are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. The meeting date are as follows:

Baby Basics

Baby Basics will teach expectant parents how to care for a newborn with topics including general baby care, jaundice, CPR, and what parents can expect the first few weeks home.
